HSC Area of Study: Belonging – dance video analysis NOW IN BLOG
In response to numerous requests by 2014 NSW HSC candidature, an analysis of the 90 second dance video developed to promote the novel ‘In and Out of Step’ by Christine M Knight has been uploaded into the BLOG section of this website.

The dance video and novel work well as independent related texts – rich in insights as well as use of techniques to illustrate belonging and alienation.
Another potential Belonging Related Text would be the December 2013 edition of Good Reading Magazine (refer page 28). It provides another perspective on some ideas/attitudes found in Peter Skryznecki’s poetry used for the area of study.
